The Maharashtra government had requested that everyone in the state sing the national anthem at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, as part of the celebrations for 75 years of independence.
According to a government directive published last week, participation in the song was required for all state government departments, universities, colleges, and civilians were also expected to participate.
The singing of the national anthem at
Birla Open Minds International School
was conducted to support and participate in the national activity. We at BOMIS Nashik believe in instilling patriotism in children which will help them to become responsible citizens. The singing of the national anthem at Birla Open Minds International School was held in the school assembly with all the students and teachers as well as supporting staff.
Along with the whole of Maharashtra, students and the staff of Birla Open Minds International School, Nashik, were also singing the national anthem at 11 am with all our hearts and dedication.
This event was a part of the Union government’s Swaraj Mahotsav. “Private establishments, traders and even other government departments including those who come under the Union government are also expected to participate in it. Students are expected to gather on open grounds to sing the anthem,” the order stated. Birla Open Minds International School, Nashik will continue to organise and participate in more such events of national and patriotic interest.
